Dollar Tree find. There are many great reasons to incorporate board games into an APE lesson (although these would be great in general education P.E. as well). If adverse weather causes you to be in doors these can be a great in-door alternative. Personally, I have used peg games such as the ones below for higher cognitive functioning students with moderate to severe mobility issues (Cerebral Palsy Upper-Body) that have enough finger or hand movement to roll dice and/or hold the pegs. Pairing the APE student with an instructional aide or with a peer buddy to play the games is recommended. Great example of cross-curricular physical education as well.
